Elijah’s ministry is tested on Mount Carmel. The drought has extended for some time. Worship has been offered to Baal and to God, but there still has been no rain. Elijah’s question for the people is really a message for all of us, “How long will you go limping between to different opinions (1 Kings 18:21)?” The showdown on Mount Carmel was made possible by Elijah’s faithfulness. God showed up and revealed His authority. At what point will we stand for our faith and allow God’s presence to be revealed?

Thanks for your interest in Mullen Memorial Church. I count it a privilege to serve at Mullen Memorial Baptist Church and to be part of the Belpre community. Our desire is that Mullen Memorial would be a place where people experience the transforming power of God's presence. We pray that through our experience people will be drawn to God. When I came to this church in January of 2015, I told this church that I was not a chaplain, but a leader. I want to get this church from Point A to Point B. If you are tired of going through the motions of church or life and don't feel like you are living out your God-given purpose, then Mullen Memorial is the place for you. We hope to see you soon!
