Jeremiah 29:11 is a verse that many Christians know by heart, or have at least heard quoted. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans for hope and a future.” Aside from this verse, the context of Jeremiah may not be as familiar. Jeremiah has often been described as a weeping prophet, however, the real testimony of his ministry is that he persevered despite the hardships he encountered. This sermon series will chronicle the ministry of Jeremiah, and provide principles that we can apply to persevering during times of uncertainty.

Thanks for your interest in Mullen Memorial Church. I count it a privilege to serve at Mullen Memorial Baptist Church and to be part of the Belpre community. Our desire is that Mullen Memorial would be a place where people experience the transforming power of God's presence. We pray that through our experience people will be drawn to God. When I came to this church in January of 2015, I told this church that I was not a chaplain, but a leader. I want to get this church from Point A to Point B. If you are tired of going through the motions of church or life and don't feel like you are living out your God-given purpose, then Mullen Memorial is the place for you. We hope to see you soon!
